Hi, Just wondering if anyone has experience of been approved to go ahead with work on an extension under the housing adaptation grant and then when the work is done been refused the money from the council? The job was done correctly but the problem was with the tax clearance cert. There was some issues with the cert but the annoying thing is that the work was given the go ahead from council and now I am left wth the bill to pay the builder!

This thread may be relevant to this forum but its not a regular query here. I'll leave it here for the time being, but PM me if you feel you aren't getting any help and I can move it to Accommodation & Property - you might get more help there.
