    Hi,
I am looking for a watch which I can set intervals on.
So say every 40 seconds it resets and beeps.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

I have a GymBoss and find it great. It functions as either a stopwatch or an interval timer and in interval mode you can set 2 intervals (work period & rest period) which is handy for Tabatha

+10 on the gymboss. It's a handy little piece of kit.

I just looked at this product. It's not a watch you put on your wrist, which is what I was looking for. Any ideas?

Where did you get gym boss? did n't see in it Argos.

Amazon or Ebay, not sure. Its like £15 or something.

As for the watch bit, it has a nice sturdy clip.
So you would get a strap or just clip it on to a belt or shirt or stick it in a pocket. Its loud enough.

I think you can strap the gymboss to your upper arm with a special harness a la iPod.

Some heart rate monitors (ie. sport's watches) have interval beepers. You can also download timers in mp3 format. Before we had a gym timer I used to have 3 cds with timing signatures on them.

I was looking at getting one of these before. How loud is it? Could you use it to help with running a class in a large-ish hall?

It's reasonably loud, no problem with personal use, but I would bot be too sure about its suitability for use in a class environment in a large-ish hall.

For that scenario you might be better with someting like Barry suggested, a decent CD player with external speakers with timing sigs on CD's.
