    Hi.
Was just wondering if any of you ppl in the nous out there could give me a rough estimation of the cost involved in running a 3 phase power system on a power washer (high powered, not exactly sure of the size but one used for industrial purposes) for circa thirty hours of peak time per wk?we we do a lot of washing in our business and was considering changing from 3 phase as i've been told it is eating into my bord gais bill every month? any ideas on the price?
    Thank you.

I would contact a potential vendor of this equipment and ask them to quote you on what the power use and the saving would be. (You would also need to factor in the cost of getting wired up for 3-phase.

According to this, it could be a third of the price to run a 3-phase as opposed to a 1-phase.
