I know it is not the best time of the year to travel around the country, but we have one week off, we do not really feel like flying this time and just love renting a car and spending a couple of days in the middle on nowhere (we did it last year in Leitrim, excellent time).

We have now a 1 year old little girl. What place would you recomend to go to. It is important that the accomodation has some things to do with children (i.e. a climatized pool would be must) and ideally some attractions in the area (zoo, farm, wildlife park?).

We were thinking about Wexford and Cork, but we would go anywhere in the Island if we think it is the right place.

    Thanks,
