Just wondering what would you think of my story, because it happened to me. My PSA reading was very high and my doctor arranged for me to visit a consultant.
The consultant arranged for me to have a biopsy a few days later. However as i was just about to have my biopsy, the surgeon told me as i was just about to be anaesthesised while on the flat of my back in the operating theatre, that he just got my recent tests back and that my PSA levels had returned to normal.
He said that he would still continue with the biopsy and so he did.
The biopsy was all clear, and i am now left wondering was there an eed for the operation in the first place and was the surgeon right to go ahead with the operation.
    Any opinions would be appreciated.

No first hand experience but these two articles suggest that your experience is not uncommon

Im afraid this is bordering on medical advice OP,something which is prohibited across boards.Have a chat with your GP or consultant, anything here would be speculation.Closed.
