The TM M16VN is nice - good looks and performer. Only issue with it in my opinion is the barrel wobble/plastic receiver.

You have very refined taste if I do say so ;)

Like most TM guns, it's a safe choice. But I'll point out that the TM m16VN has not seen any revision since it was first released many moons ago and suffers from wobbly barrel syndrome, etc.

If you want an accurate Vietnam-era m16, I would recommend a G&P; besides being accurate right down to the trademarks (and are the only AEG manufacturer to do so for vietnam era guns), they are lovely guns and you have a couple of options:

    m16VN

m16A1 (started circulation in 1968, so seen in more limited numbers than the VN)
    showimg.php?id=3308&size=lge

The notable difference between the two above is the flash hider, and the A1 has a forward assist on the receiver (which for an AEG amounts to not much really other than authenticity).

All pictures were pilfered from fire-support.co.uk, if you want to do a quick price comparison. Fire-Support listed a TM m16VN as being £180 vs. £250 for the G&P of same, although both are out of stock.

Edit: LandWarrior Airsoft have the G&P VN & A1 listed for £215 (they don't stock TM), so not much of a stretch (assuming that it was also in stock)
