    Hi all,

I've been called in for an interview with Airtricity (SSE Scottish & Southern Energy Group) for an IT role

I'm just wondering if anyone has been interviewed for a similar role with this company before and what can i expect?

More importantly does anyone on here work for them and what are they like to work for?

    Contractor?

They are good in terms of a company. The head of the IT department in Sandyford is a right hard-ass, straight talking and doesn't like bull****. The other staff are your usual mix of genius, lifer and lazy. One major thing about the place is they are complete and total health and safety nazi's. They have stair monitors to make sure people hold the rail ffs.

In terms of the company, they expanded rapidly and bought the best of everything for their staff, payed great wages etc. But with deregulation and prices no longer a simple matter of we are x% amount cheaper I can see that slowing down quickly and the belt being tightened at some stage. The parent company isn't doing so well.
