Who are the Centrally Contracted Players this Season?

    Just reading one of the other threads, and it got me wondering what the full list of centrally contracted players is this year ?

    Does someone have the list ?

    justindee might know.

    IIRC there are 21 international contracts, think it went down from 25.

    I thought it was 23 down from 30? Either way there are some odd players on central contracts - I think Stringer is still on one for some reason (could be well wrong on that though). It doesn't affect international selection though.

    I would guess...

    Buckley, Healy, Hayes, Court, Flannery, Best, DOC, POC, Cullen, Heaslip, Wallace, Ferris, Sexton, ROG, Wallace, TOL, Reddan, BOD, Earls, Fitzgerald, Kearney.

    That's 21 names. I have a vague recollection of hearing that there are 22 on the list for this year, so I guess maybe Leamy has a central contract still.

    I heard that Darcy, Horan and Stringer were all taken off the central contract, hence the rumours in the summer that they might move to various clubs abroad. I can only assume that Healy, Earls & Reddan took those central contracts.

    It seems a bit strange that Darcy would be taken off a central contract when hes still pretty much the starting 12 for Ireland.... :confused:
