Start your own business course looking for volunteers

We are currently putting together a start your own business course and we are looking for 10 – 15 volunteers who are considering starting their own business to provide feedback on the material. The course is aimed at people who have an idea but are not sure what to do next and would also like to develop their business skills and knowledge.

The course will be held for 3 full days (9am-5pm) in Trinity College on the 11th & 18th of Oct with the final day on the 1st of Nov. The time in between courses is for you to complete activities and during the next day of the course you can get feedback and can ask questions.

During the course we also look at the strengths and weaknesses of the students. After the course is finished we hold a networking meeting for people who would like to start their own business and are looking to network with likeminded people or find partners. We introduce our students to those looking for a business partner based on their strengths and weaknesses.

If you can’t attend the course but would like to attend the networking meeting please send an email to Stephen@soi.ie with the following information:

Name
Contact number
What Experience / Skills do you have?
What industries do you have contacts in?
Where are you based in Ireland?
Describe the ideal business partner you would like to meet at the networking meeting in terms of experience/skills and contacts.

There is no charge for the course (or the networking meeting), we are just looking for honest feedback on what you think of the course and how it can be improved. If you would like to take part, or know someone who might, there is a form below. We will pick the people who we feel are most suited for the course.
