This page does the same thing, it's not as nicely packaged as the app but the app was essentially a front end for the same code anyway.

I cant find it now, but i saw one that did the same thing in the last few days on the app store. Was not called dessid, thought it said eircom ssid in the name, but cant find it now.

I asked the author about this and here was his reply:

"Apple decided to remove dessid from the App Store last month, along with all similar apps. I am still selling it through the Cydia Store for jailbroken iPhones"
