    Hi all
    As the title goes, im going to be over in Bristol at the weekend and would like to watch the rugby. Anyone familar with the city? Good pubs ect

    There's an Aussie bar in the centre of town on Corn St. Walkabout, I think it is. I used to head there for rugby, they usually have the Irish games on from what I recall. You might get lucky.

    It all depends on whether they can get TG4 on their SKY dish or not. There are plenty of Irish pubs in Bristol, give them a quick Google. Might be an idea to give them a call and see if they can get that channel and if so will they put it on quietly down a darkened corner of the bar for you.

    AFAIK to get TG4 on Sky you need a card registered with an Irish address so not sure if it's strictly legal for a pub in UK to show this channel. You could go a bit further west towards Welsh coast and see TG4 via an aerial I guess.
