    Hi all,

I'm looking for some ideas for my parents Golden Wedding (50th) Anniversary really to mark the event:

    - They are very quiet people and wouldn't really like a party.
    - They are not in good enough health to take a trip.
    - They are not into ornaments and have everything they need.

I'm stuck, all suggestions gratefully received.

    Thanks a mill.

    hi steps,

my grandparents were 50 yrs married in august, like your parents they didnt want a big party or anything and my grandfather isnt in the best of health.
What we did as just have a small family party at home for them, we got the food in m+s they do really nice party food, its a wee bit expensive but worth it.

Would somthing like that work for your parents, the other option would be to go out for a meal with just the immediate family.

    hope that helps
