whats this symbol on my iphone?

    I restarted my iphone last night after getting a no service message and when I did I got full bars but next to it I now have a symbol looking like [-> I dont have any missed calls or messages anyone knows what it is? its not causing any problems I just dont know what it is

    Answered elsewhere: just dial ##21#, press call and that should evaporate it.
