Placed an order with Amazon on Saturday and got my free delivery....Tried putting an order through last night and again this morning and it looks like they are charging for delivery again...Is it just my account or what is the story? there is still a banner on the home page claiming free delivery over £25. I certainly won't purchase again until they change it back.

Were you ordering from amazon or a third party marketplace seller?

It is working for me still.

Even if they are the cheapest?

Seems a lot of people are willing to cut their nose off to spite their face with these stores who have poor "exchange rates" or no "free" postage. I couldn't care less, I just go with the cheapest who is still trustworthy.

Did you select SuperSaver Delivery at checkout. It doesn't select it by default, but you need to in order to get free delivery.

Its still not working for me:( Added a few more random items and there is still no option for free delivery. Will contact them directly as it seems to be a problem with my account rather than they have removed the free delivery. All the items are sold by Amazon themselves.

I would go with who ever is cheapest free p&p or not. Have been using Amazon for many years ever before they brought the free p&p in. I was just a bit hasty with my remark:pac:

Thanks, there just isn't the usual option for me to select the free delivery though:-( Just back from college and sent them an email there to see what the story is, very weird it is:(

Problem solved:o:o It was an ink cartridge sold by "Amazon's preferred merchant - Indigofish" that was the problem. I am 93% sure when I have ordered in the past items from Indigofish was delivered free too but this time a whooping £11.95 delivery was added for one ink cartridge:eek:
Funny thing is when I sorted out the problem I added an item that was was from a third party seller and fulfilled by Amazon it was included in the free delivery.
    I feel very silly now:o
