hi everyone. im just wondering can anyone help me. my boyfriend is going to london to work for 3 months and doesnt have the money to join a gym over there. he wants to keep exercising but doesnt know what exercises to do. does anyone have any ideas? thanks a mil.

If it was me I'd get a chinup bar.

Pullups, chinups, handstand pushups, pushups, bodyweight squats, dips using chairs or similar, running anywhere, find a grassy area for sprinting...

There's loads he can do really.

Hi

Have a look at The Home Workout Thread for some ideas. These are all exercises that can be done with little or no equipment.

Then there is also The Metcon Thread which has ideas of crossfit type workouts.

Tell your OH to have a look in the local parks as I believe that quite a few in the UK have had workout stations installed for exercises like pull-ups/chin-ups, dips, inverted rows etc. Push-ups, burpees, lunges, air squats etc will all help.

Get him to Google Body Weight exercises and he will get lots of ideas that will help him stay in shape without going near a gym.
