Leaky Door :(

    Hey everyone!

My car is a little flooded inside and I can't find where the leak is coming from.
It's a 01 Megane Coupe. It seems that the damp patch is under the carpets but then I noticed drips coming from the sunroof electrics thingy.

OH looked at the seals and said they were in good nick. Heard that if I tighten the door lock it might solve the problem. Had a look in the manual and there's nothing in it that helps so I'm hoping someone might be able to tell me how to do the above!

    All help greatly appreciated.... :)

Its very likely your sunroof is the problem from what you've described.

Open the sunroof & have a look around for any damage to the rubber/plastic seal. A proper look.

Next time it rains put a sheet of newspaper roughly under the sunroof & then you'll know for certain.

Try the seal around the base of the aerial on the roof, these perish and let water in wrecking your remote key receiver on the inside. Sort it asap !

Also check the drains in the sunroof channels.
