I lived over there for two years (only just returned home). There is very few places to buy golf equiptment in Abu Dhabi. Sun and Sand Sports (Marina Mall) has a small golf section but it isn't any cheaper than over here.

Your best bet would be to go to Dubai. Dubai Mall has a pretty good golf shop (by UAE standards) and there's also a huge sports shop in Mall of the Emirates (can't remember the name of it) that has a pretty decent golf section.

Both would be cheaper than Abu Dhabi and would have a better selection but at the same time are still not much different to here.

Hi Swar, Cheers for the reply,

Ill keep that in mind. Another question for you? Dont want to start another tread.

Orthodontist work? Do you know anything about it in dubai? Need braces and dont want to fork out over 5grand here if I can get it cheaper over.

    Thanks again

how long are you going for. Depending on your teeth you could have braces for 1-4 years. The 5 grand you pay here is for a visit every 5-6 weeks for that length of time and for aftercare for another ~12 months. The cost isn't in fitting the braces its the long term treatment.
