Cleat position issue.

Right folks I've got some bother with my cleat position. I went for a massage before the Sean Kelly tour and found out that my back was all out of line mainly because it seems as if I'm cycling on the edge of my foot. Obviously I didn't adjust anything before the SKT but I took a couple of weeks off after due to a holiday, but I went back out out yesterday and attempted it this morning. Both my knees are f*cking screaming at me.

I'm not sure where to start. My cleat position doesn't look that wrong. I'm tempted to get a bike fit done but don't think it will cure the problem. I know Adrian Timmins in the uk does bike fit, cleat position and custom shoes or inserts if needed. Not sure anyone here is at that level. Any ideas ?

Although IrishFit have mixed reviews, from my own experience the thing they're best at is knee motion assessment and cleat alignment issues.

Ash in Cycleways assesses cleat position as part of a comprehensive bike fit. I found it very good and sorted a niggling knee issue I was having. The extent of the problem you are experiencing is definitely something I would seek expert and competent advice on which is specific to you and your problem.

i had to change the cleats on shoes around 2 months ago. i am on bike nearly every day. Just after that the past few spins the pain on my left knee was unreal. Had to stop for moments durning the spin. I moved cleat back just small bit and perfect pain was gone, i was amazed at difference a small move can make.
