From everything I've read so fall on the boards I don't think it will.
It needs to have a FreeviewHD tuner to have any possibility of working with the Irish DTT system (Saorview) and even then there's no guarantees as Saorview hasn't officially launched so may be subject to changes.

32LD450. Yes it will. Whilst stuff normally labeled as Freeview dont, this TV actually has MPEG4.

They are selling them in power city for €399 (not much in the difference when you convert to Euro and pay for shipping). I have had nightmares with product support bought online!

Power City also doing a Sony KDL32V5810 that has Freesat HD and DTT tuner in 32" at moment for €549 (was €499 last week).

No it doesn't. DVB-T with MPEG-4 will work.

The specification was finalised/published in Dec 2008. The soft launch begins next month.

Yes. When you see MPEG4/AVC L4 it will be fine.

The Cush is spot on Freeview HD products are not required to receive Irish DTT but will work.
Freeview HD is the spec for the UK's HD services as distinct from the UKs Freeview SD service products (MPEG2) which are incompatible.
