I took a spin down to this today,
badly signposted, just bits of cardboard that got blown down,
poor turnout,a few nice cars, and a few stands selling stuff.
Very disapointing really, not as good as the sale/autojumble thats held in Kilkenny.

When is the one in Kilkenny usually on? And does anyone know of anymore good autojumbles on?

I was there too, poor turnout alright but these things have to start somewhere l suppose. Good model car stand there, bought a few models there. The car parts where only the usual ****e and the cars were nothing special tbh, didn't bother taking photos, when I heard some space cadette looking for 25k for a Ford Escort I walked.......

Years ago, I used to have a stall at autojumbles around Ireland. The last one I did was in Abbeyshrule some time back. Of about 20 stalls, only mine and one other seller had just car-related stuff for sale. The rest were flogging mantlepiece stuff, old signs, army and navy surplus etc.

However in recent years with the huge interest in tractors, I have noticed more and more stallholders offering new/remanufactured stuff for tractors instead of the old unrecognisable rusty crap. Stallholders should realise that with Ebay and other online media, we don't need their rusty sh1te when we can get good stuff abroad. The only advantage of having autojumbles here is convenience and savings on postage (which screws most online purchases)

Almost as bad as that guy that described his 1990 Ford Orion as a "rare car" :D
