For those who might be interested and who have satellite TV, ML highlights are on BBC2 Wales around 5pm on Sundays and on STV Sports Centre Rugby around 11pm.

Scrum V is sometimes repeated later on a Sunday if you miss first showing though it tends not to show all the tries from all the games and includes quite a bit of analysis and specific features on Welsh club rugby. STV's programme (11.15pm on Sunday night) is excellent as it concentrates purely on the action on the pitch and shows the best of the action from all the matches.

Thanks for that. Will set to record. Recording 'other channels' like STV is a bit of a pain as you can't use Sky+ facilities and I'll have to set it manually. Hopefully will see Munster tries. Pity RTE don't do a weekly highlights programme e.g. 'Against The Head' which ran for part of last season.

According to STV, Shaun Payne is the new Tony McGahan :D

Aviva Prem highlights about to start on ITV1 (11:45)

Feck forgot about STV. Did they show Munster highlights?

Yes they did show Glasgow v Munster scores.

Against the Head was mostly for AIL highlights. It runs from after Xmas til the end of the season. May be on again although with all the extra coverage who knows?

Yes, they showed the highlights, well the scores anyway.

They are available online here for those who missed them.

You're right but they did show highlights of ML matches last season as well. Surely there's room for a weekly highlights programme like our counterparts in Scotland/Wales have.

You're right, of course there is room. There seems to be a good appetite for rugby in Ireland now. However, I was thinking a little more about this and I think I heard that AIB were paying for Against The Head as part of their sponsorship of the league. Now that they have pulled out who knows what will happen if this is true.
