    Not sure how to calculate as the lead times as soon long, with all the different parts coming along at seperate times. I have read that the 'cycle time' of an aircraft this size is approx 18-24 months.

    The delivery rate was 6.6 per month in 2007, this was on the A330/A340 line. Total for 2007 was 79.

    I think that as a test Airbus built one of the A380s in a month. It was a test of the new wiring process at the start, so number 17 got completed before num 10-16. Skipped the queue so to speak. This was when they had to redesign the wiring,so 10-16 were all going to have to be rewired anyway. Am not 100% sure on this info but its based on a memory I have.
