Wheres a good spot in galway to go picking?

Tis the season and I'm not orgianally from Galway so I'm not too clued in on the best places.

I need to clear the cobwebs off of the synapsis !!

Pah, mushrooms grow naturally in the wild, there's nothing wrong with telling people where they grow.

If I remember correctly, the golf course along by the diving boards at Blackrock was always a fairly decent spot and easy enough to get to i.e. not miles outta town...

Your best bet is a golf course, supposedly on a slope.
