Hiya! You will probably recieve an email (if you haven't already) giving you details of your academic advisor and which dept he or she is in. I got mine on Tuesday. I emailed him and arranged to meet with him today. I knew he was in the geog dept so I went there (beside the BOI) and looked up the office number. I found a map pinned up on one of the notice boards with the diff staff names, office no's and locations.

Look up the person on the NUIG website, should have department, room number, phone and email.

I was only in with him for 5 mins! I just basically told him what subjects I was picking. He is really only there to ensure we dont pick conflicting subjects . . (i.e. two subjects with restricted entry into 2nd Arts etc!) He didnt particularly advise me as such, just asked y subjects and left it at that!! Besta luck with it!
