need pitch pine doors treated

    just a quick one ,picked up a reclaimed pitch pine door a few days back ,almost perfect doors ,but for a small bit of worm, whats my best option for treating them ?

    cuprinol and ronseal make a good woodworm killer but are quite toxic

    try parrafin oil but this only kills woodworm it does not prevent from an infestation
    then use some sort of clear colored wood preservative every 2-3 years (if un finished timber) for preventative purposes
