Insurance, shopping around really does save money

My younger brother got a renewal from his broker for an eye watering €1500 the other day. After 10 minutes of searching online he had a quote for €600.

Needless to say the broker was not impressed and alleged that his new insurance was invalid. Sour grapes if you ask me.

Moral of the story shop around and don't trust brokers to get you the best price.

It does save money alright but your brother might still want to check the fine details of the policy though. Policy excess etc

Nothing to worry about. The new policy is better by miles.
