Really ??? I thought it picked up compared to the other 2, Laurence Fishburne was a welcome addition in my book and saved it imo from sliding downhill.

I just wish I could stop watching Miami , so bad. Not even so bad it's good. I want to punch the smug bastards in the face every episode but yet I can't stop watching. I call it car crash crack cocaine TV

I do like Miami as well, i tells ya...the season 7 finale was alot stronger then CSI Vegas finale.

That was one of the best opening episode for a long long time. It was action packed from the start. A bomb in the casket, genius. Great watching.

What accent does the bomb tech supposed to have? Is it British or Northern Irish?

Looking like the bombings have only just begun.

I thought it was dreadful!....an exploding casket?....seriously?, Justin Beiber was horrid + his apperance didn't help the ratings at all. I thought it was a very weak season opener.

OH YEAH BABY!!!....CSI is back!!, bloody fantastic episode!!, this was like the CSI of old, with Anthony E. Zuicker in charge in writing the ep. you can see the difference, it reminded me alot of season 7 and the minature killer.

This gimp/fetish guy is freaky as hell!....he moves like an alien, the murders were very well done, especially the one in the car wash. He really creaps me out this killer!

I just hope this is a series long arc they are starting, what CSI needs is a really good and multi episode serial killer, like the minature killer.

That ep. imo was the strongest since season 7, i can't even remember when i have commented on an episode of CSI it's been that bad....but this was a return to form!!

CSI creator Zuiker has been working full-time on the mothership CSI series this season, taking a break recently to promote Dark Prophecy, the second book from his Level 26 digi-novel series. In the first literary/broadcast crossover, Sqweegel, the super villain from Level 26, did a guest appearance on CSI this fall, driving ratings up for the veteran crime drama, now in its 11th season. The plan is to bring Sqweegel back in the CSI season finale, which would be co-written by Zuiker and the series showrunner Carol Mendelsohn. "I appreciate it more now than the first time," Zuiker said about returning to the show that jump started his career.

^ since Anthony Zuicker came back on board there has been a significant uptick in the stories and episode quality, it's been the best series since season 7 thus far.

My love for CSI hasn't waned over the years but the leaving of Grissom was a turning point for the series. LF is a great actor but no replacement in terms of the heart of the show. Grissom coming back will probably show up CSI for what it is missing.

The storylines have been better this year than last but I feel the connection within the csi team isn't as tangible as it was when Grissom was around. catherine doen't get involved with the other characters the way Grissom did.

Lads, this is HUGE news for hardcore CSI fans!!!!!!

Melinda Clarke has signed up to return to CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

The Nikita star will reprise her role as Lady Heather in an episode of the show in April.

Speaking to E! Online, Clarke revealed: "It hasn't happened yet, but I'm scheduled to shoot another CSI in a few weeks."

Clarke explained that she will not be working with William Petersen, who recently signed up to return to the show as Gil.

However, she added: "Fortunately, I think the storyline's pretty interesting."
