*Job application*

I am in the process of applying for a job that is heavily reliant on quantitative skills and maths based knowledge.

The job states that one should include a copy of full leaving cert results. Although i have completed a Finance degree with heavy reliance on maths, I sat pass maths for the leaving cert ( i got an A in pass, and the decision to drop from honours was based on the fact that it consumed so much time, rather than being unable to do the course). Do you think including this fact on a CV will lessen the likelihood of getting an interview with the firm, given the fact that i have showed that i am capable of achieving high grades at third level in maths and statistics courses?

    Thanks

It could, but it shouldn't. I also did pass maths for the leaving (because the honours maths teacher stank of BO!) but was very good at maths in college. I have a maths degree.
