Signing off, but no visit yet

I applied for JSA almost four months ago but, despite calling the office many times, I still haven't received any money or even had my visit from the inspector. The thing is I'm starting a new college course next week so I'll have to sign off, probably online as I won't get a chance to call in to the office before then.
I understand that if my claim was approved I would get it back-dated, but does anyone know what will happen now as my claim hasn't even been assessed yet? Also, I'm moving house this weekend to be near my college so I won't ever be able to have a visit from the inspector.
Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on my situation, really need the money as I've been borrowing off my parents and need to pay them back. Thanks.
