    Hey guys,

Does any one experience a slow in the internet in clare and to be specfic Ennis. I have been ringing them for the last 3 weeks and all they say that they are working on it, haven't seen any progress!!

My download speed is 0.5 mbps where i am suppose to get 7.2mbps which i know very rare to get this speed but at least 3 or 4 mbps i'll be happy like.

Although when i take the modem to shannon, i get a superb speed around the 5 or 6 mbps.

Any thoughts people?? anyone else is having the same issue as mine??

They've been working on the network since they installed it years ago, it will never be any better. This is the nature of 3G services; unreliable. Your speeds will likely never improve, unless people move out of the sector you're in, stop using it, or you move to a different sector (like when you go to Shannon where population density is likely lower).

Don't they have real broadband in Shannon, hence low demand for Mobile Internet?

not really sure about shannon, as i live in ennis, and my girlfriend lives in shannon, which sometimes i bring my 3g modem and works like a charm there, too bad in ennis, thought 3 would the best for 3g connection!!
