I just bought a dress for my graduation, it's navy. I wish I could show you a picture of it, but unfortunately Miss Moneypenny don't seem to have a website. Would just navy shoes go with it? Or is there any other colour I could use?

    Not this brand?

Depending on the dress, nude would work, or a possibly a pewter, or purple. Wouldn't go navy - to hard to get a decent colour match.

Navy is a great colour cuz most colours go with it! I'd go for nude shoes cuz you could wear them again this season. Purple, red, silver, gold work too. Camel or tan would work with it if you could find the right shoe and you would be up on the autumn/winter trend but maybe not for your debs. All you need to match your bag and shawl to the shoe and you're off to the ball! Have a great time :)

Well the dress has a black belt sewn on with silver studs, could I get away with black shoes?

Yup if the belt is black then the dress is the right navy and can take the black against it then you can def wear black shoes. try to get a shoe with silver embellishment so that it properly matches the belt and if you could get a bag to match it too. Perfect!

I wear black shoes with navy dresses all the time if I'm wearing opaque tights - usually black patent. (I developed an obsession with navy and have quite a few bits now). I think it's fine, and since there is black in the belt it should be fine - in fact the nude mentioned in my other post might not go so well since there is black and silver in the belt...
