Morning all, have just started a job with a company that does not have support on sage and have a small annoying problem that i know is changable- when you do an adjustment or delete of an entry it is showing the deleted entry on the account in red - i know there is a way to stop it showing as i have done it in my old place( but cant remeber how ) but since i dont have a maintacne contract i can not ring up and ask !! so my question is does anyone out there know who to turn it off ???

    Thanks as always in advance

    Clare

This is the audit trail, so is there perhaps a way of turning this off? I've never done it so can't say.

Best not to make mistakes! ;)

i thought that but the amount of changes made by people before me is making it impossible to follow accounts - from what i remember it just turns them off in the accoutns but leaves them in the audit trail reports - any help would be great - thanks

Try this: Go to settings on the task bar, click on company preferences, select parameters and in the bottom box titled 'others' click 'exclude deleted transactions'

    Hope this helps
