wire which can be used as an earth

    what wire can be used as an earth. as in i want to just have earth connected to frame and use single core wire to bring live from the battery

    to connect beacon. going mounting it to cab. will mount earth to roof and use single core from battery to fuse to switch to beacon

    The power loading will be small so any reasonable cable will do, 1mm sq (or even less) will be fine.... if thats the question you're asking. Keep the inline fuse as close as possible to the battery.

    That's to avoid short circuiting (sparking) and the tractor catching fire, isn't it?
