    c10i.jpg

Just seen this in the local free paper.
Seems strange that it names no names nor gives email address etc.

    Anyone hear of them before?

At first glance they looked like one of those imitation companies.

But the clincher is.. It's being held on the same day as an iww show also in the town.

    Just called the number there.
The chick who answered has no idea who is appearing. She said that all the flyers are gone.
Said to ring back between 9:30 and 6 tomorrow and the manager will be there. Apparently he will be able to answer the question.

Tracy Smothers is a class act. Worth admission alone.

Move to Irish wrestling promotions thread?

Looks a bit meh tbh; but if there's names or some good young irish talent i might go!

Seen that aswell. Would love to go, to be honest. I'd say it'll be hilariously bad.

Wasn't PN Neus a jobber? LOL

20€ for this? All i can say is good luck. Expect an Orig Williams-esque night of 'entertainment' that will be over in 90 mins.

Hes obviously the "ECW" Talent, he was in the Baldies around 1999/2000..

My very learned friend has also just informed me that it is being held in a theatre, newly built so I haven't gotten into it yet.
And it's got fixed seating. So it's going to be a ring set up on a stage.
    ...

I don't know if this merits the promotion thread entry, purely because I don't think the promoter probably owns a computer seeing as there's no email/website/personal phone number.
So it's unlikely any promotion will be done through the site here.

On a slightly related note, i remember when i was younger, there was a huge advertisment in the local papers for weeks that the superstars of the WWF were coming to my town. I was only about 12 years old but i can guarantee you that if you read the ad, you would have thought that Taker and HBK were coming themselves. It was only local wrestlers dressed up to look like the superstars in question but we still tried to convince ourselves that they were the real deal. It was still a great night but it was a bit disheartening to see Stone Cold folding up the ring at the end of the night!

is that the one where there was a guy that was dressed up as The Rock; and one as Road Dogg i think?

    They were feckin great!
Sure stone cold was only about 12 stone and undertaker was a little much, but it was as near to the wwf that we were destined to get to.

WE had no "twice annual" wwe tours! Pfft, kids today have it easy! :pac::P

I'd go just to see El Ligro, he is easily one the best wrestlers in the UK.

Haha, I remember that show from years ago. With Kane and XPac and such. One of the worst wrestling shows I ever seen, but one of the funniest childhood memories I'll ever have.

The referee giving abuse to adults and kids for knocking over the barriers.

Kid attempts to jump over barrier
Ref: Get the fcuk back! Fcuk off back!
    Adult pushes barrier a little
Ref: You should know fcuking better!

Dunno if it's the same show others seen in Drogheda. It was over a decade ago. So, so funny.I think it was int he Bridgeford in Drogheda, I think?

Anybody going to this tomorrow night?

    As austin would (never) say:

    OH HELL NO!

I emailed, called, done all the enquiring i could and got nothing back.
Whether thats down to the lackluster receptionist in the tlt, or the absence of a proper email address, i will never know.

    Or care anymore.

    You going bro?
