I'm having an extension (25 square yards) built onto my house. There's a sewer that will pass under the extension, and it will need to be exposed and encased in concrete for extra protection, before foundations, hardcore etc. are laid. I got a price from a builder of 1,650 euro to do this. Seems quite expensive for digging a trench a couple of metres below the surface, and then pouring concrete over a 4 inch drain pipe. What do you think ?

Also got a quote of 650 euro for a soak pit. I would have thought around 300 euro.
