Ryder Cup

    I am running a competition for the Ryder Cup in the local.


    It is important that the names of the players going out first on the Friday AM are not known to the entrants - so I have to have closing time for the competition before the first pairings are announced.

    Does anyone know approx when the Captains announce the Friday Morning Pairings?

    On the eve of the opening day at the opening ceremony (Or it was last time anyways)

    Thur, 30 Sept: 08:00 – 15:00 Team Practice Rounds
    15:30 – 16:15 approx. Opening Ceremony

    It is not really possible to do a sweep for the Ryder Cup

    The entry form I have come up with is a bit complicated and involves picking six players from both the Europe & USA team to play for you.

    One of those is a playing Captain

    Points are awarded to competition entrants - based on each half point each of your players wins -with double points for your playing captain!
