Part-timers Holidays

    Just need to clarify what holidays I'm due, I know it's 8% of what you've work for the year, I have roughly built up 40-45 hours I'd say this year. I've only took one weeks holidays this year back in August where I got all my holiday pay to date in my pay cheque. So anyway, how do I work out how many weeks holiday I'm due if I have bulit up 45 hours and only used one week? I don't have a set amount of hours a week, can be anywhere from 12 - 22 hours.

    count up the amount of hours you worked through the year multiply by 0.08 which will give total holidays, subtract the hours taken for holidays already and there you go.

    Bingo, I took a weeks holiday, how many hours does that amount to? I usually work between 12-22 hours.

    It depends, when i worked part time when i took holidays i was always given 39 hours. however other places with part timers may only give them their average hours per week.
