Ebay problem, seller wants to cancel transaction

I recently purchased an item from ebay and the seller never sent it to me. I opened a dispute and he never answered me. I then escalated it to a claim and again he did not respond. Paypal ruled in my favour at the weekend and refunded my money.

Today the seller has emailed me looking for me to cancel the transaction. Is this normal or some sort of scam?

He is doing it to claim his listing fees back. Up to you if you want him to pay for listing the item(10%) or make him pay for not responding. I normally agree to cancel

I guess he's looking for his listing fee to be refunded, so he needs you to agree that the sale never went through.

If you're feeling particularly aggrieved by his behaviour, you could ignore him, which means he won't get his fee back. Otherwise, there should be a link in the email, pointing somewhere on eBay, where you inform them the transaction was mutually withdrawn.

What would the best option be here? Will I lose my feedback for that sale?

Leave feedback before doing anything else.

    Its up to you.
If the seller never sent me the item and it took a dispute to make him refund, then he can p!ss off with his "cancellation". Thats just me though ;)

This fecker does not let up.

He is now emailing me demanding I remove the neg feedback I left him. I left an honest feedback and now he is accusing me of pocketing the item and filing a false dispute.

What can I do here? I am tempted to email him back with a 2 word response.

Forget about him. He deserved the Neg. He should look after his buyers better.
