    Hi,

I know the new bus route began on Monday but it has been crazy busy. I get on at cornellscourt. But from 8am its almost impossible to get a bus.
They all pass by full and there is then a big crowd gathering at the bus stop.

Any ideas if this is always the case?

    Thanks!

should be that bad there. more 145s but also 84 passengers on them as 84 only to Belfield now. Only other bus you are losing is 46c which would be near empty at Cornelscourt so there minimal impact from this.

Me being an 84X man i can see the chaos.

Most 145s are hitting Loughlinstown full, which is where the X's are filling.

You are missing several former euro duties which covered the 46c (it would fill in peak). The 46d is also gone. The two overtime buses are also gone which started at Loughlinstown Hospital. Further down the road the 746,46X and 46B is gone which all adds to the ripple effect. The 63's passengers now head to the N11 to get to town.
We are gathering info for a union meeting and hopefully changing things around before we lose all the customers. Donnybrook 7034404 and ask for a manager.

It will be the same again tomorrow sadly. So leave home earlier!

seems to me then from SickCert's info that Deloitte & DB managed not to see this impact occurring... well planned and implemented :o

If the 46A is bad now then surely when the 10 is removed it will get worse still?

You will then have the people heading from the northside that currently can get the 10 or the 46A having to get the 46A, which will add to crowd numbers, and the people heading to there getting the 46A from O'Connell Street instead of having the option of getting both routes.

I can only see this getting worse. If this is bad now, and we have only done a small part of the network and when we have some duplication which is soon to be removed, what is it going to be like when the whole network is done and the duplication that exists now means even less relief, when there is not enough anyway?!?!
