*Daniel Bryan and John Morrison lost to Alex Riley and The Miz in the opener. Daniel Bryan vs. Miz for the US Title in a Submissions Count Anywhere Match is made for Hell in a Cell.

    * A Divas Battle Royal to determine a new #1 contender to Michelle McCool is up next.

    * Natalya defeated all the other Divas in a Battle Royal to become the new #1 contender to the Unified Divas Championship held by Michelle McCool.

    * Sheamus comes out for an open challenge that is answered by The Great Khali. Khali won via disqualification after Sheamus threw a chair.

    * The Cutting Edge with Edge is up next. His guest will be the anonymous RAW General Manager who is speaking from the computer. The GM voice was masked by an effect, and after the segment, Edge destroyed the computer.

    * John Cena defeated Edge.

    * Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater beat Mark Henry and Evan Bourne.

    * Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre successfully defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against The Hart Dynasty.

    * Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho ended in a no contest when Sheamus came out and interfered in the match. Orton punted Jericho in the head after the match. They took Jericho out on a stretcher in an injury angle.

So that's Jericho gone for a bit. :(

So in the show before HIAC, they had no interaction between Cena and nexus, or Orton and Sheamus.

    Who books this show?

Supposedly they'll be on the following SmackDown.

Yeah, but considering there is only 2 weeks between NOC and HIAC, having them on Smackdown too would have given 3 shows to build the fueds on.

I'm sorry but who exactly is the Womens Diva Champion McTool or
    Layla

    Jericho gone :(

    * Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater beat Mark Henry and Evan Bourne.

The thought just occurred to me - why didn't they put the straps on these two guys? Surely they could use it more than Drew and Cody?

This is my concern for Orton as a babyface champ. How is punting guys in the head supposed to get him over in PG land? I imagine a lot of older fans would like Jericho and would boo Orton doing that to him. Good thing it was a taped show and they can pipe in their cheers. Funny show where choking a guy with a tie is a sackable offence yet kicking them in the temple is hunky dory. I thought a reason they fired Bryan was because they felt kids might repeat the act that he did? Would kids not be capable of booting someone in the skull? Baffling to me that this is what they are having the babyface champion do.

Oh, didn't see that Sheamus interfered in the Orton match. That's not too bad then.

Thats exactly what I thought. Like Jericho is hardly a huge heel. There have been y2J chants for the last few shows, he's always going to be popular. They should just make up their ****ing minds and book characters sensibly. Its so frustratingly bad.

Ha, loved seeing Edge bust his head open by smashing the laptop off it.
I still think that the GM is Zack Ryder (I mentioned it in another topic about the GM) - "I tried to make peace, yo"

I think you'll find the voice wasn't masked and is actually Al Snow's Head:

Which is now the only GM reveal I'll be happy with apart from Michael Cole or GLaDOS from Portal.

Did he actually read that out. If so, I miss him already.

Though really he's stealing Steve Corino's gimmick.

he did say all of that word for word, but what made it better is that he didn't read it out, he had it memorised!

Yeah alot of people are saying he did it as a nod to that promo, sort of a throwback because BTC was out the next day!

The 9/27 edition of Raw did a 2.74 rating with 3.8 million viewers. The show did hours of 2.72 and 2.76.

Ouch. I know Raw was taped but a 2.7??

F4W said on the ratings that the football game that was against Raw this week was the 5th most watched show in cable tv history I believe. So we'll give them this weeks rating in fairness
