Of all the things happening in the country/world, the people who bring us the news always select the same predictable stuff.

Wouldn't it be more interesting if they mixed it up a bit?

That light-hearted item they usually have at the end could be the lead story and read in a solemn fashion by Brian Dobson. The latest news on the Fianna Fail leadership battle/NAMA etc could be near the end and covered in an amusing and cheeky way by Sharon Ni Bheolain.

NAMA is kinda the most important thing in this country at them moment and will probably bankrupt us all one way or another. There cannot be enough news about this to be fair.

The news should be required by law to show positive news as well as bad. It's completely biased towards misery at the moment.
