Hi guys. Just want to know my rights if possible regarding this. I didn't know where else to put this??? (move if needs be)

I rent a premises and some parking spaces included on a monthly basis. and And i came up the other day to find the business car gone from the spaces (that wasn't driveable due to a problem) and the lock in the door way changed. I had came up when my rent was due but the landlord was not there. So i was waiting for a phone call. less than a week later i come back up and the above is the result.. no letter, no notice. no phone call? I was also told my business possessions were dumped.

Whats my rights if anyone knows?

Thanks, Really need help with this one

Nothing legal about this. Chat to the Gardai, see what they recommend. Landlord can not just chuck you out like that, nevermind dumping your property. He's supposed to go through legal process. Looks like you might need a solicitor to get damages or other recourse for the dumped business possessions.

get in touch with a solicitor asap - as was previously said - landlord CANNOT remove your stuff without going to court first and in that event you would have to be named as a notice party and told of proceedings.

Just saw this. It all depends on the arrangement with the landlord, and the length of time the OP has been renting the premises. Anything under [is it] 4 years and nine months can be terminated by the landlord. However, I believe his actions, i.e. dumping your stuff, are illegal.

As advised talk to a solicitor and possibly the Gardai. I'd be looking for compensation for my lost stock.

I'd be taking out the baseball bat myself on this one to be honest...
