Have just started to investigate wedding flowers! Is it customary for members of the family to wear corsages/buttonholes at the wedding? I'm trying to remember every wedding I've been at to see if I can remember anyone wearing them (apart from parents of the bride and groom and groomsmen)! Would the sisters of the groom wear corsages? I'm frazzeled from flowers!:)

I don't think theres a "norm" , its up to you. I've been at weddings where it was done both ways. Maybe ask brothers & sisters if they want to wear them? Buttonholes/corsages won't go on some dresses for example if they are satin or silk so some people may prefer not to wear them.+

Thanks BC. I was thinking that too re people's dresses etc. Phew, another emergency bites the dust! :o
Whats really surprising me at the moment is the price of flowers! Bouquets starting at 85 euro! I understand that it takes time, skill, practice etc. to get flower arranging right, but I think I had set my flower budget too low! :)

I completely agree, I had no idea how much the flowers would cost, completely underestimated it.
