For all you blokes (and maybe ladies too?) who just want to keep going, there is good news and bad news.

    * The good news is that Tesco from Monday next is to sell Viagra over the counter.

    * The bad news is that it only applies to Northern Ireland and England as far as I know.

Previous to this, the only other high-street store in the above was Boots who sold the pills at £55 for 4.
Tesco will be selling them for £55 for eight.

Will ye be tempted to hop across the border and go Tesco shopping?

 Jeez didnt realise they were so expensive.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

There are Viagra eye drops available now.
It doesnt give you an erection, but you look hard.

I don't understand half the responses here. All viagra does is facilitates erection in males who cannot achieve one normally by increasing blood flow to the penis. It does not allow for multiple orgasms, or have that much effect on arousal levels. It's a medicine, and there's no reason you'd want to take it unless you're impotent.

What's the big deal? Or is impotence not a serious problem for some men which we can mock openly?

I am a diabetic and can get them on medical card:D but thankfully dont need them yet. I could become a dealer but may just store them up for old age. Lots of pressure on my single friends to perform horizontal gymnastics so im told. Whoever said women dont watch porn must be living in a different milennium. Oh and guys:thanks for keeping me up in the future:p

    Even worse news!

Tesco don't have pharmacies up north.

Ye will have to take a trip across the water!

And here's me thinking that itt allows you to last longer, so you can please the woman.

I'm not sure now, but I don't remember seeing any comments along the lines of "Haha, if you need Viagra you're not a real man" or "You have erection problems, lol". I don't see the need for the high horse

Viagra does not make you last longer. It facilitates erection in men who cannot get one normally, that's all.

*shrug, I just don't understand or like the tone of the thread.

I was off the mark with the 'mocking' statement and I apologize.

But like, it's a medicine, why would ordinary, healthy guys want to obtain it? I'm finding the comments here to be bizarre.

Viagra isn't the holy grail for eliminating male sexual problems.

It shortens recovery time after the first orgasm making sure that there is less down time before round 2. Generally you will last longer the more times you do it consecutively.

Amyl Nitrates are used to treat cyanide poisoning and angina as they lower blood pressure. So they're a medicine. But you can buy them as poppers to get a mediocre buzz or as to use as a sex aid if you're into anal sex.

Just because something is a medicine doesn't mean there won't be people out there willing to use it for recreational purposes. I suspect that half the attraction of Viagra is the notion it'll give you a schlong as hard as steel and the stamina to ride from dusk until dawn. A notion that's quickly dispelled if you try it.

I'm aware that there are some studies that suggest this, but also admit that the placebo effect is a large factor in results like this.

It's been around since 1998. If it really had a consistent, significant effect on the refractory period, it'd be being prescribed for premature ejaculation, and there would be much more hype about it from recreational drug users online.

I'm not saying it doesn't, but I remain pretty skeptical.

    Exactly.
