Pocket Trumpet or Piccolo Clarinet

    Hi,
I'm thinking to get my hands on a musical instrument. My preference is pocket trumpet or piccolo clarinet due to my quite short fingers. I like these as well as their normal-sized siblings in sound.

Could anyone give me an advice on where you can have a feel of these instruments in Ireland?

What manufacturers are good to go with for these instruments?

What shops deal with these instruments in Ireland?

    Thank you for your help.

    aldente

    Hi,
You've probably found your answer by now.
I play regular piccolo and regular clarinet but not piccolo clarinet. The instrumets you have talked about don't surface that often, I bought a piccolo before on www.guitar-warehouse.com and notice that they sell pocket trumpets. Not sure what they are like but the piccolo I bought was very decent for the price and both made by 'Paolo Mark'. I'm not sure whether you can try out their stuff or not. I think I have also seen them before in Opus II.
