and you'll defo need boots. they can be picked up in Sportsworld@heatons at 40quid aswell.

also MIA have jacket/pants sets at 40quid

That camo's called U.S. Woodland (well, just Woodland really, but it's American) and is very well-suited to Irish terrain. Others that work well are British DPM (similarly really just DPM), French CCE (err, CCE), MARPAT, Flecktarn and CADPAT.

It always vaguely concerns me when I discover that a foreign military's camouflage works so well in the Irish countryside that it could almost have been designed specifically for it.

The only proublem i found with US woodland it it's generally made of cheaper material. But then again i put most of my kit through a lot. Should be fine ;)

Comparing both my woodland and flecktarn i can tell you Flecktan wins on durability.

Most common camos come printed on a wide range of different manufacturers' kit. U.S. Woodland is available in the highly-regarded Helikon brand, and also from Army Bargains, a pair of which memorably split from calf to calf on a mate of mine. He played out the day with duct tape wrapped around his thighs and wearing a shemagh as a nappy; it wasn't pretty.

Ignore them all. Multicam is the only Really effective camo pattern, and it's especially effective in Ireland.

Been awhile since we did this - I'm off to get some popcorn and sit back and watch :)

Uh huh. And ACU blends in perfectly too...

What about vegetato? The Italian camo.

Gotta say, I find my MARPAT great, especially up in Oakridge.

Not really a fan of the multicam, but that just may be more aesthetic than due to usefelness. :)

Oh, yeah, I should have clarified - I was talking about a situation where the wearer actually plays airsoft sometimes.

Best camo for airsoft.... one doesn't exist.

Go to the site you want to play at, if its woodland, in something green based, urban, something vaguely matching. Play, see, and if you see someone wearing something more suitable, try that.

There is no hard and fast camo that 'works' its why the world over has different ones, or everyone would wear the same. (It's not just so different armies can recognize themselves :P)
