    Hi,

After many years of prodding and poking by my family,I've decided to learn how to drive!

Just wondering if somebody could tell how I go about getting my learners permit, all I know so far is that I need an eye test,a theory test and I need to buy a cd rom!

Any advice is appreciated and apologies if the answer to my question is very obvious.

Step 1: Book your theory test
Step 2: Buy the CD (4th edition) and go through the questions
Step 3: Pass theory test (valid for 2 years)
Step 4: Get eye test (valid for 1 month)
Step 5: Get 2 passport photos
Step 6: Go to motor tax office with theory test cert, signed eyetest, 2 passport photos, your passport and 15e
