Three women abduct, rape man in Karachi

KARACHI: Karachi police have registered a case against three unidentified women who allegedly abducted a man and raped him over four consecutive days, and later throwing him near Qayyumabad River in an unconscious state.

The victim identified as Khalil, 23, works as a waiter at a restaurant. Khalil revealed that, on the night of January 27, an identified man ordered him to deliver food to the women sitting in a car outside the restaurant.

"After giving me the order, the man went towards the car. I took the order to the car where the women told me that they had recently shifted to the area," the Daily Times quoted him as saying. The women then asked him to deliver food to their house every day. "They asked me to go along with them in the car to see me where their house was," he added. Once they got to the house, "they gave me milk that had some drug in it ... I fell unconscious after drinking it".

As he regained consciousness, Khalil found that the women "were forcing themselves onto me". According to assistant superintendent of police Asad Raza, the women sexually assaulted Khalil for four days, and then threw him near Qayyumabad river. "His condition is really bad ... his genitals are bleeding and he cannot walk properly," said Raza.

Raza said the women belonged to rich families of Karachi's Clifton area. "It's a complicated case ... but we are hoping that we will solve it soon," he added.

    Interesting story :pac:

The thread would have been locked by now with the first few posts, with screams of misogyny.

Same old crap, just like the threads on female teachers raping young boys.

I'm assuming it's all male posters on here who said 'nice'. Correct me if I'm wrong? Could well be.

I was about to say that's awful. Did it really happen - see comic strip above?

    wow, this is pretty disturbing.
so when a guy gets raped, it's all cheers?

I don't get that, don't get it at all. I really, really can't get my head around why anyone would think rape isn't something serious

I think it's social conditioning again. Guys kinda think they have to say: 'lucky b*stard", "Wish it was me" etc.

I was actually only reading in the paper the other day bout how calls by men to the Galway Rape Crises Centre have gone up recently, and i thought oh maybe people are actually starting to take the fact that male rape (by women and men) occurs seriously.
    Obviously not.

I wonder if it had been 3 men who'd raped that man, what the reaction would be like then.

Supposedly there is some legality with men being raped where if they get an erection during the course of it, they are technically enjoying it and thus doesn't count as rape?

If this is true, then it is the stupidest thing I have ever heard, ever. If a woman becomes wet during the rape, does that mean she was enjoying it and thus it wasn't actually rape?

Who was ever going to believe she was raped by Jesus and Stalin anyway?

"The apprehended suspects are Jesus L. Ortiz, Stalin Felipe, Kevin R. Taveras, Rondell Bedward"

Maybe, or it could be about their sense of masculinity? like a man being raped by a woman is somehow demeaning to their masculinity, so they play it off as something not serious and joke about it? it's like we see these days that a lot of men are the victims of spousal abuse but they don't seek help because it makes them appear weak.

I would be just as horrified at the thoughts of being raped by a woman as being raped by a man

A bit of googling seems to show this was an actual case a year ago but I couldn't find any follow-up.

A rape is a rape regardless of gender.
    We'll just stop here.
