Something isnt right here , either Mora is a natural middleweight , or preperation has gone wrong .

Either way , its bad news for Mosley ..... he must win the long way .
This one's going the distance .

On a side note , Saul Alvarez came in almost 4lbs too light against Baldimor ...... Alvarez clutched a bottle as he left the scales !
Luckily for him , Baldimor looks ill - he's that out of shape .

Also there is a real great treat on the undercard featuring Antonio Escalante and Ponce deLeon .
    A 50-50 fight .

When I switched over to the fight,I saw Alvarez and thought he was Irish before his name came up.

Mosley/Mora was a load of rubbish.

The undercard fights were far more intriguing than the crappy main event.

I hope Mosley retires. Right now he has two losses to Forrest and Wright and one each to Cotto and Mayweather. Hopefully he won't end up like Roy Jones with a record littered with losses to fighters he would have destroyed in his prime.

He has had a great career but it's time to hang up the gloves.

He looked shot agaisnt Mayorga and has done ever since, ok he did job on the nature boy antonio margarito but i think that was an exception.
A real class act but as Benny says, time to hang em up or else he will lose to guys that wouldnt have aired his jock strap in his prime.

To be fair to Mosley I thought he won that fight by a mile.

Mora did himself no credit in that fight ,
I don't think anybody will PPV to see this type of performance .

Interestingly , Setanta had it a shut out for Mora .
They must have been told that HBO had it similarly for Mosley , as they changed their tune for the last 3 rounds , which seemed bizarre .

Time to hang up 'em 39 year old gloves .......
Shane didnt fight in his usual style at all , I've carefully analysed his style for years and that was not him in there on Sat night .

Ability dies with time , just like your hair turns grey ....... and theres nothing you can do about that .

You'd be more qualified than me to call it as i havent seen even a highlight but when i heard it was a draw and mosely been the name fighter i thought mora probably won it by right. Why do you say mosely won it by a mile?
Will there be a replay of it?

Really? Wow. I could understand an argument for it being a close fight but a shut out for Mora? He barely threw a punch for the first six rounds, was constantly on the back foot and didn't seem to have any interest in actually fighting until the last four or so.

He was the constant aggressor, Mora did nothing for the first half of the fight and Mosley never slowed down even in the latter rounds when Mora came forward a bit more. It was no classic now, there wasn't that much quality on show, but Mosley landed the harder, cleaner shots throughout the fight except for the last couple of rounds. The CompuBox stats after the fight showed that Mosley landed nearly twice as many shots as Mora and connected more in 11 out of the 12 rounds, with the other one being even. It wasn't the Suger Shane of old but he did more than enough to take a comfortable UD.

Don't know about a replay, I use worldboxingvideoarchive.com for torrents.

I realise HBO have gra for Mosley so their commentary might not always give you accurate account of how a fight he's in is going, but in saying that if you watched the fight without their commentary, i don't see how anyone could have called that fight for Mora.
Mosley, as has been said, was the agressor for most of the fight and landed more punches through out. Mora did finish well but in no way was it enough to clinch a draw.
Fair play to Mosley for not kicking up a stink. Mora had some cheek to say he won the fight. You could tell no one was more suprised it was judged a draw than his own cornermen. I'm getting sick and tired of these dodgy decisions.
