played headfort new today with the society, the greens had been pole forked in the last week id say.first we knew about it was on the first green.

it was a wet day and this combined with the greens made it very hard to score.most lads struggled maybe only 6 out of 20 broke 30.i consider myself to be a good putter but i struggled on the green had 9 3putts,

this kinda takes the enjoyment out of it for some of the lads and my thoughts are that courses shouldnt be taking society bookings during this time or at the very least they should let the society secretary know in good time about the greens and let them decide what to do.just wondering what peoples thoughts are

They should have to tell you on booking

We had the same out in grange castle yesterday although it was only a casual 3-ball rather than a society. Still a pain in the hole

I reckon a lot of corse's will be forking at the moment with att this rain
